🌅 Rise Before Dawn for Saint Patrick’s Day — A Call to All Christians ☘️
Continuing the powerful legacy of Saint Patrick — who tells us in his Confessions that he rose one hundred times before dawn to pray — Christians of all traditions are gathering at 5:45am on Saint Patrick’s morning, 17th March, at his grave in Downpatrick.
Together, we will pray The Our Father/ Lord's Prayer one hundred times, asking God for peace and unity in Christ among all our peoples.
🙏 Everyone is welcome.
🤝 Please spread the word.
If you can’t travel to Downpatrick, why not bring the celebration to your own community?
Consider organising a local gathering at your St. Patrick’s Church, school, parish hall, well, or even your local football club. We’ll provide you with a simple event format, making it easy to host.
Let’s unite in prayer and fellowship across Ireland — and beyond — as one family inspired by the spirit of Saint Patrick.
For more information or to register your event please email legacyofsaintpatrick@gmail.com
Will you join us before dawn?
